If you have a talent for sewing then maybe you would like to join the Kerus Quilters, a group of women from different churches in the Harrisonburg area who are making and sending quilts to our orphans and their grannies in Soshanguve, South Africa.  Each quilt is sewn with a bible verse panel and with a lot of prayer for the specific person who will receive it. This group has already made over 100 quilts for the children!

You don’t have to live in Harrisonburg to help.  You can help from wherever you live in the following ways:

  • Send us left over fabric – think Africa and think children
  • Cut out fabric squares
  • Sew fabric squares together
  • Tie squares to the backing (in Harrisonburg, VA or start your own Kerus Quilters group!)
